An evening ride in Bone

I found these on Mason's new camera and couldn't help myself. I love the feeling these pictures evoke. It was a gorgeous late summer evening in the grain fields up the hill. I'm sad I didn't take the camera and get a shot of Mason on HIS horse.

Fun with cousins

These little girls were so entertaining!!!!! Both ready to walk but not daring to let go. Both love to sing and dance and drum on the milk can. Both too cute for words!

Fun to have Barrett and Audri drop by! These kids had great fun together while we visited. Cousins are the greatest thing since ice-cream!

Fun in the cabin

Mikelle played this fun game with the kids. She is pretty good and bouncing them on her feet and dropping and catching them. Would have been a fun movie.

I tried to save some berries but Cora got it figured out and kept grabbing my hand and forcing her little fingers into my fist to get the berries.

We had fun making and EATING huckleberry ice-cream!

Gehrig is my little "Havvester". He loves to harvest absolutely anything! After a week in my garden picking and eating beans, peas, squash, etc., he thought he was in Heaven picking and eating huckleberries! (of course we all know he WAS in heaven!)

We all had to wear long sleeves even though it was hot, to save us from the mosquitos.

Chelsea and Jeff came and stayed a few days. What fun it was to be with them and cute little Mary. I can't believe I didn't take any pictures of her. Katie will have them, no worries.

Cora started really liking the huckleberry picking once she figured out what those little maroon berries tasted like!

We had very little beach time since the mosquitos were HORRIBLE!!! Gehrig and Damian didn't care, they loved digging and swimming anyway.

Mason's birthday

Angela made him a Starlight Cake with Huckleberries. Yum! (for this I splurged!)

We had cake at noon with Honica and family and Angela and family before Angela had to leave for SLC. Then, that night he had a friend party which was very fun and I can't believe I didn't take ONE picture. Then, that night when Katie returned at 11:00, he opened a few more presents (still, no pictures! Maybe I will have to turn the picture taking over to Mason since he now has a nice camera! Thanks, Katie!)
