Date Night
Staff and Shelly hosted a wonderful date night friday night. They had an incredible meal, then provided us with motorcycles and 4 wheelers and we went out to a lookout point near their cabin and watched the sunset. It was so beautiful! Afterwards, we had ice-cream and cheesecake and played games and visited. Then we all slept there. Dad and I put a mattress from their bed and a feather tick in the back of Stafford's pickup and drove up Diamond X and slept outside. Grandpa and Grandma are not shown. They didn't walk out to the lookout point where we took pictures. They followed the bikes in a pickup.

Getting ready to leave
This was such a beautiful camping spot! I jumped in the river for one last dip before we were to take off on the 8 mile hike out. Then, after I got dressed and ready, Carlianne and Micah got in and a water fight ensued! I hiked out VERY wet! Don't worry, I dried out in about 15 minutes, it was so hot! Another cute shot of Dad. He did get in the water hole but then the camera wasn't close by. Steve also swam but it across the river in this shot, taking pictures of it all.
Mosquitos
Shirley and the boys headed out early in the morning. The boys had had all they could take of the bugs. They were real wannies. Too bad she couldn't have sent them alone. Emily stuck it out and was a real trouper. From left: Marshall, Jonathan, Sean, Shirley, Wendy (Micah's mom), me, Carlianne, Micah, and Emily.
Our Gorgeous camp site
We are bundled up and not because of cold. The mosquitos were outrageous! You see our bear pole where we hung our food at night and while we were away from the camp. Our lunch table is quite the deal, the bears had cleaned out the grubs for us first. Nice animals, huh? Carlianne and Micah hiked in ahead of us and followed a huge grizzley track. They didn't tell me until morning! So, I slept like a baby. (Dad lay awake most of the night, he said. Too bad they told him about the bear!)
Carlianne and Micah hiked down to the bottom of the falls and did a "Last of the Mohikan's" scene under the falls (minus the kiss, she said) I was so sad not to have the camera with me. Dad had it and was hiking around the top of the falls. By the time he got there with the camera, they were coming up from the nearly straight up and down hike.
